Food Systems Development Project to preserve its e-journal with Portico.

05.23.14

We are pleased to announce that the Food Systems Development Project will be preserving its e-journal, the Journal of Agriculture, Food Systems, and Community Development, with Portico, ensuring that its content will be secure and available into the future. The Food Systems Development Project is based in Ithaca, NY, and is a project of the Center for Transformative Action, an affiliate of Cornell University.

As noted by editor in chief Duncan Hilchey, “As a publisher, we understand the value of perpetual access to JAFSCD content by our licensees and are happy to partner with Portico to make this possible.”

The Journal of Agriculture, Food Systems, and Community Development (JAFSCD) focuses on the practice and applied research interests of agriculture and food systems development professionals. JAFSCD emphasizes best practices and tools related to the planning, community economic development, and ecological protection of local and regional agriculture and food systems, and works to bridge the interests of practitioners and academics. JAFSCD is available at www.AgDevJournal.com.
