Portico is pleased to announce an agreement with the International Centre for Diarrhoeal Diseases Research, Bangladesh (ICDDR, B). ICDDR, B is an independent, international, non-profit organization for research, education, training, clinical services, and information dissemination. Located in Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh, the research activities of ICDDR, B encompass a wide range of protocols with emphasis on infectious diseases, poverty and health, HIV/AIDS, diarrhoeal diseases, and social and behavioral sciences.
Through this agreement with Portico, the current and back file issues of the ICDDR, B publication Journal of Health, Population, and Nutrition (incorporating the Journal of Diarrhoeal Diseases Research) will be preserved for future scholars, practitioners, researchers, and students.
ICDDR, B has also agreed to make an annual financial contribution to Portico and has designated the Portico archive as an official delivery platform for post-cancellation access claims.
With the inclusion of the ICDDR, B publication, over 6,000 titles have now been entrusted to the Portico archive.
