Portico, a digital preservation service for the scholarly community (www.portico.org), is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement with Ammons Scientific Ltd. to preserve its two online journals, Perceptual and Motor Skills and Psychological Reports. Ammons Scientific Ltd., based in Missoula, Montana, has published both titles in print since the early 1950s before making them available online to researchers and practitioners in the field of psychology.
Through this agreement with Portico, Ammons ensures that its online journal collection will be preserved and available for future scholars, researchers and students. Ammons has named Portico as a mechanism to fill post-cancellation access claims and has also agreed to make an annual financial contribution to Portico.
With the inclusion of Ammons’ publications, over 7,900 e-journals and 4,400 e-books have now been entrusted to the Portico archive.
