Portico is pleased to announce that it will be archiving the journal collection from CSIRO Publishing. CSIRO Publishing is a not-for-profit business unit of Australia’s Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization. It operates as an independent science and technology publisher. Its journal publishing program covers a wide range of scientific disciplines, including agriculture, the plant and animal sciences, and environmental management.
Through this agreement with Portico, CSIRO Publishing makes certain its entire collection of twenty-five journal titles is preserved for future scholars, researchers, and students. In addition to supplying content, the publisher has agreed to make an annual financial contribution to Portico.
With the inclusion of CSIRO Publishing journals, over 6,000 titles have now been entrusted to the Portico archive.
