Portico, a digital preservation service for the scholarly community (www.portico.org), is pleased to announce that it will preserve the online version of the Indiana University Mathematics Journal. Founded in 1952 and edited by faculty members of the Department of Mathematics of Indiana University, the journal is committed to fostering both pure and applied mathematics by publishing original research conjoined with a high level of expository clarity.
Through this agreement with Portico, the Indiana University Mathematics Journal will be preserved and available for future scholars, researchers and students. The Journal has named Portico as a mechanism to fill post-cancellation access claims and has also agreed to make an annual financial contribution to Portico.
With the inclusion of the Indiana University Mathematics Journal, over 8,000 e-journals and 4,400 e-books have now been entrusted to the Portico archive.
