Oxford University Press Signs Agreement with Portico to Archive Electronic Journals

Oxford University Press (OUP) has executed an agreement to preserve their 149 titles in the Portico archive (www.portico.org). OUP will make an annual financial contribution to support Portico's ongoing operations – based on their total journal revenues (subscriptions, licensing, and advertising) – and has designated Portico as an official delivery platform for post-cancellation access claims. OUP joins the growing list of Portico publisher participants, including Elsevier, John Wiley and Sons, Berkeley Electronic Press, American Mathematical Society, Symposium Journals, and UK Serials Group.
