Lawrence Erlbaum titles to be preserved by Portico

Portico is pleased to announce that it will be archiving the journal collection from Lawrence Erlbaum Associates (LEA). LEA publishes more than one hundred academic, scientific and medical journal titles and approximately two hundred new book titles a year. LEA publications circulate to a global audience with a focus on four major areas: psychology, education, communication and communication disorders, and management/organizational studies. In 2006, LEA was acquired by Taylor & Francis.

Under the terms of Portico's recent agreement with Taylor & Francis (http://www.portico.org/news/102406.html), LEA's entire journal collection, including those under the imprint of The Analytic Press, will be preserved for future generations of students, educators, clinicians, scholars, and researchers.

With the inclusion of Lawrence Erlbaum journal publications, over 5,900 titles have now been entrusted to the Portico archive. The complete list of journal titles is available at http://www.portico.org/about/content_digitally_preserved_alpha.html and a list of participating publishers is available at http://www.portico.org/about/part_publishers.html.

Please visit the Portico website to view a current list of participating libraries http://www.portico.org/about/participating_libraries.html.
