SAGE Publications archives journal content with Portico

Portico is pleased to welcome SAGE Publications to its rapidly growing list of publisher participants. SAGE is a leading international publisher of journals, books, and electronic media for the academic, educational, and professional markets. They publish in a wide range of academic disciplines, including business, humanities, social sciences, and science, technology and medicine.

Since 1998, SAGE has archived 13 of its titles with JSTOR. Through this agreement with Portico, SAGE enhances this long-standing commitment to preserving its journal content by archiving all of its 425 journal titles with Portico and, in combination with JSTOR, ensuring its entire collection will be available for future scholars, practitioners, researchers, and students.

In addition to supplying content, SAGE has agreed to make an annual financial contribution to Portico and has designated the Portico archive as an official delivery platform for post-cancellation access claims.

With the inclusion of SAGE Publications, over 3,400 titles have now been entrusted to the Portico archive. The list of participating publishers is available at http://portico.org/about/part_publishers.html.
