Australian Academic Press reaches preservation agreement with Portico

Portico, www.portico.org, is pleased to announce the signing of an agreement with the Australian Academic Press to preserve its entire digital journals collection of 14 titles. Australian Academic Press, based in Queensland, is a niche academic publisher of books and journals for the behavioral sciences, specializing in psychology.

Through this agreement with Portico, Australian Academic Press ensures that its digital journal collection will be preserved and available for future scholars, researchers and students. The Press has also agreed to make an annual financial contribution to Portico and has designated the Portico Archive as an official delivery platform for post-cancellation access claims.

With the inclusion of the Australian Academic Press publications, over 7,500 titles have now been entrusted to the Portico archive. The complete list of titles is available at http://www.portico.org/about/content_digitally_preserved_alpha.html and a list of participating publishers is available at http://www.portico.org/about/part_publishers.html.
