SPIE to archive Digital Library with Portico

Portico is pleased to announce the signing of an agreement with SPIE (Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers) to preserve its entire online journal and proceedings collection. Founded in 1955, SPIE is an international society advancing an interdisciplinary approach to the science and application of light. With a membership of more than 17,000, SPIE organizes conferences and publishes journals, proceedings, books, and magazines covering all aspects and applications of optics and photonics technology.

Through this agreement with Portico, SPIE ensures that its six journals and extensive conference proceedings collection are preserved and available for future scholars, researchers, and students.

With the inclusion of SPIE publications, over 6,100 titles have now been entrusted to the Portico archive.
