Portico welcomes Institute of Physics Publishing as newest publisher participant.

Institute of Physics Publishing (IOPP), has signed a formal archive agreement with Portico to preserve its journals, including archive titles dating back to 1874. Additional journals published with partner societies are expected to be incorporated into the agreement soon.

A not-for-profit publisher wholly owned by the Institute of Physics, with headquarters in Bristol, UK, IOPP is an international leader in scientific publishing and electronic dissemination of information and news in the field of physics.

Through this archiving agreement with Portico, IOPP makes certain its collection of journal titles, including the Journal of Physics series, are preserved for future scholars, researchers, and students. As part of the agreement, IOPP will make an annual financial contribution to support Portico's ongoing operations.

With the inclusion of journals from IOPP, over 3,600 titles have now been entrusted to the Portico archive. The list of participating publishers is available at http://portico.org/about/part_publishers.html .
