Portico announces journal preservation agreement with Taylor & Francis Group

Portico is pleased to announce the signing of an agreement with Taylor & Francis to preserve all of the publisher's journal collection.  Building on two centuries' experience, Taylor & Francis has grown rapidly over the last two decades to become a leading international academic publisher and provider of quality information and knowledge.

Taylor & Francis joins the growing list of publishers that have chosen to work with Portico to preserve their journal content. Through this agreement with Portico, Taylor & Francis enhances their long-standing commitment to preservation by archiving 1,149 journal titles with Portico and ensuring its entire collection will be available for future scholars, practitioners, researchers, and students.

Taylor & Francis has also agreed to make an annual financial contribution to support Portico’s ongoing operations and has designated Portico as an official secure archive repository.

With the inclusion of Taylor & Francis Group journal publications, over 5,100 titles have now been entrusted to the Portico archive. The complete list of journal titles is available at http://www.portico.org/about/committed_titles_alpha.html and a list of participating publishers is available at http://www.portico.org/about/part_publishers.html .
